References

This section collects standards, protocol specifications, papers, tools, and external documentation relevant to the Agentic Web Stack.

Reference pages should prioritize primary sources:

  • official standards and RFCs
  • protocol specifications and repositories
  • academic papers
  • vendor documentation for concrete tools and APIs
  • vendor-neutral explainers when no primary source exists

Reference Sections

Essential

  • Protocols - Agent protocol references for MCP, A2A, and related web protocol surfaces.
  • Standards - RFCs, specifications, and standards-body documents used by the stack.
  • Glossary - Definitions for terms used across the architecture and demo.

Implementation

  • Tools - Documentation for implementation frameworks, databases, runtimes, and development tools.
  • Specifications - Local machine-readable demo artifacts and validation scope.
  • Run the Local Demo - Local deterministic implementation of the reference scenario.

Historical

  • Timeline - Chronological history of how web foundations, model infrastructure, and agent protocols formed the stack.
  • Technology Origins - First public milestones, original developers, stewards, and source links for major technologies.

Advanced

  • Papers - Academic papers and benchmarks that influenced RAG, tool use, and agent behavior.
  • Operations and Evaluation - Production-readiness checks, evaluation scenarios, and trace evidence.

Maintenance Notes

  • Prefer stable URLs from standards bodies, official documentation sites, and project repositories.
  • Add short notes that explain why a reference matters to the stack.
  • Keep implementation decisions in topic pages until a runnable example exists.
